The Jober J300 offers an excellent compromise between portability and sawing capacity. Ideal for medium-scale forestry work.
The J300 model is designed to operate with an integrated bandsaw. It consists primarily of two base supports, a two-section rail, a carriage, and a bandsaw powered by a 6.5 HP Kohler four-stroke engine. The two base supports hold the rail in position, and the bandsaw is attached to the carriage, completing the assembly.
The operation is performed manually, and the basic supports include a mechanism for adjusting and advancing the log. The standard J300 model can saw logs up to 20 inches (40 cm) in diameter and 12 feet long. A 7-foot extension can also be added to increase the sawing capacity.
